Roethlisberger is Digest Player of the Week

Posted Oct 11, 2012

On the day he vaulted Terry Bradshaw to become the Steelers' all-time passing yardage leader, Ben Roethlisberger completed 24-of-40 for 363 yards, with one touchdown and one interception. He also ran once for 14 yards, and that converted a third down in the fourth quarter. His touchdown pass was an 82-yarder to Mike Wallace.

Roethlisberger is the Steelers Digest Player of the Week.

Also considered were Heath Miller, who caught six passes for 67 yards; Lawrence Timmons, who had six tackles and an interception; and Isaac Redman, who caught four passes for 105 yards to become the first Steelers running back to have a 100-yard receiving game since Frenchy Fuqua did it in 1970.
