There were a lot of heroes for the Steelers throughout what turned out to be a 19-16 win over the Baltimore Ravens at Heinz Field. Start with the offensive tackles –
But then there was Le’Veon Bell, who finished with 93 yards rushing on 19 carries against a Ravens defense that came into the game tied for seventh in the NFL against the run. Bell did it as a tailback, and he also did it taking snaps in the Wildcat, the first time the Steelers ever have employed that formation.
Bell was the driving force behind a Steelers running attack that totaled 141 yards and averaged 4.9 per attempt against the Ravens, and the team desperately needed the running attack to win last Sunday.
